It looks like we might get to see the return of AB de Villiers in the T20 World Cup next year. The star batsman is already in talks with the top management in Cricket South Africa reported ESPNCricinfo.
Earlier this week Mark Boucher, the newly appointed coach, said that the 360-degree batsman might make a comeback to international cricket. Now, the national team captain Faf du Plessis has said that he is talking with his friend from growing days regarding the comeback in T20s.

“People want AB to play and I am no different,” du Plessis has said after his Paarl Rocks team defeated Tshwane Spartans to win the Mzansi Super League final on Monday night according to Cricinfo. “Those conversations have been happening for two or three months already: what does it look like, how does it look over the next year, and that’s where it starts.”
With Graeme Smith taking top post in Cricket South Africa and Mark Boucher as the coach, it might not be a bad time for AB de Villiers to make a come back to international cricket to help the team through the transition.
