Ashes, 3rd ODI: Perry bags seven as Australia rattles England!

Ellyse Perry, this time with the ball, produced a jaw-dropping display of 7/22 in her ten overs to rattle England by mammoth 194 runs.

Perry was well-supported by Schutt from the other end. England was in a verge of breaking the record for their lowest score after being pushed to 21 for 6 but the resistance from the lower order batters helped the team to reach 74.

Earlier, Australia put on a total of 269, thanks to half-centuries from Healy and Lanning. The middle and lower order batter also had their contribution in taking the team to a commendable total.

With this emphatic win, Australia now moves to 6 points to England’s zero. The hosts now will have to win the Test to stay in the competition.
