Bigg Boss season 3 seems to be entering its second act when it reaches 65 days with only 8 contestants. The even no. of housemates doesn’t come easy only when they need to divide themselves into team but also to divide their indifference. Today’s begins with a new refreshing spirit in the house. It seems Kamal’s pep talks have worked out fine with the contestants.
Monday morning starts with a task for Sandy to preach the housemates that how important is cleanliness and bathing. Sandy doesn’t think twice to jump into the character. He wears the traditional dhoti attire and exposes himself as a clean person and constantly use perfume. Housemates joins the comical play and asks silly questions about how to tackle the water scarcity situation. Sandy tells them how to bathe with a glass of water and leaves others in splits when he said he would wear soap bubbles as dress to come out when he would have no water in the middle of a shower.
Monday brings eviction nomination. While we know the contestants don’t have to face eviction this weekend, they don’t know that. They nominate Sherin, Kavin, Vanitha and Mugen. The housemates doesn’t have any more burning conflicts with each other and they can’t nominate Cheran as he is the captain of the house this week. Sherin is nominated for being one of the tough competitors in the house. Mugen is nominated for not involving much himself in the house events and keeps his self dormant. Kavin and Vanitha are nominated for each of their ruckus in the house. As the tension builds up on their mind to think about facing the eviction, they also seem sort of make up their mind as they have gained enough experience in the house and that’s enough even when the trophy is not within the reach. Losliya feels a slight guilt that Kavin is nominated for involving with her. Kavin is not tensed and he says with a clear mind that she has people who want to save her and they can save her only when she is apart from himself. But Kavin has decided to put on his game face and to give out his best self until his end in the game. Tharshan is moody as the fellow contestants support for his success and it is perceived as not-a-hard win victory. He also feels down because Cheran told him to sacrifice his title for Losliya. We saw it last week that Tharshan mentioned it to Losliya that Cheran might not be in the house till the end and he wantes Tharshan to fill in his shoes and motivate Losliya to play the game until she can. He re-pharases it and says to Sherin today that Cheran wanted to sacrifice his title to Losliya. Sherin consoles him and tells him to carefully play the game just as Cheran does who has learnt the grasp of the game better.
The contestants play two tasks back to back today. They play memory game, sponsered by Vasanth and Co. They divide into 2 teams. They match the 2 same appliances images together by remembering it until the end. They get to eat a victory cake too. Another task, which is surely lit the fire in the game, is that each contestant should tell why they deserve the title and the others should listen to their reason and tell the person that why they don’t deserve it. Kavin, Tharshan, Sandy, Mugen and Sherin get to talk in the task today. Kavin begins it. He says that with all the issues that he got involved earlier in the house with Sakshi and Madhu, they get to leave and he gets to stay. He believes that he gets the chance to stay here because people believe he is right and he feels he is right. And he never give away his friends over any issues which denotes his importance to friendship. Cheran and Vanitha question him that just because he stands strong with his friends, would that credit to his individuality in the game. And Vanitha questions the inequality in his friendship as he didn’t treat Sandy and Sakshi equal as he didn’t trust Sakshi’s friendship because he was gender biased and he wasn’t true to his “so-called” respect towards his friendship. Kavin accepts what Vanitha said and tells her that he is not playing any game anymore in the house. And he is true to every minute to the persons he loves. He hints that it is not just friendship what he has now with Losliya. Vanitha tells that, he being the matured and aged person than Losliya, should have the wisdom to think about her future too after the game. He says he has thought about it and doing what he feels right. Sandy finishes his part crisply. He says he plays his best self and he thinks that’s why he is gonna win. Cheran says comedy is his strength and if he thinks the same even when he crosees his line in the process. To which, Sandy says he never really keep the status of people in his mind, who he mocks as he does it equally with everybody. When he knows that he has hurt someone, he said he would definitely correct himself and never go down that road. Vanitha asks Sandy if this is a game only a good looking person like Tharshan can win. Sandy says he doesn’t think so and he works for it. Tharshan says that he has a fine leadership quality to run things smoothly in the house as he set an example as a leader in the house. He says he is not only a good looking person who can win anything with his charm. He says he has an individuality and he dares to stand against even his friends when they are wrong. Vanitha and Tharshan just do this to and fro conversation more than we could take and it ends at some point without anyone getting infuriated. Mugen says that he has learned to come forward in the game and ha learned to correct his anger issues but the others still feel that he needs to work on that. Mugen says he would do and even if he gets to leave the game half way. He would be happy that he just gets to experience this kind of living. Sherin, one of the composed person, has been nominated for the first time in the house. She says she didn’t have the winning spirit when she entered the game. And as the game goes on, she has found her competitiveness and really wants to game and go till the finals now.
