Kamal do the honour of evicting one of the contestants today. He brings up Bala’s strategy to let Samyuktha win in captaincy task by voiding Som’s chance. For that, Bala explains that he did it because he thought Som could be easily influenced by others in making difficult decisions. He names Archana, Rio, Nisha, Ramesh and Velmurugan who could have the hold to indirectly influence Som. Bala means that Som has got no individuality to prove. For that, Archana and others denies this allegations. Sanam rises up and says if Rio is an influencer in front of Bala’s eyes, then Bala is equally an influencer or an intimidator for other set of group as the house is already split into two teams. So far, Sanam, Aari and Anitha are in neither of the group. Bala’s observations widens the crack in the house a bit more.
While still there are 4 contestants to be saved and one to be evicted, Kamal asks them to play an imitation game. He asks them to choose a card which has a picture of one of the housemates. The person needs to act like the picture in the house in two ways. One way to impress and fit in and other way to misfit. Samyuktha acts like Sanam, Bala acts like Aari, Rio acts like Bala, Nisha acts like Velmurugan and Velmurugan acts like Aajeedh. After this fun little game, Kamal names 4 contestants, Suresh, Som, Rio and Aajeedh. He reveals that Velmurugan gets evicted. Housemates bid a touching goodbye. Archana is emotional. Velmurugan gives the coins he has saved so far in the game to Archana which Archana says to give it to Samyuktha. Vel sings one last time before he leaves and leave a void. He meets Kamal on the stage. Kamal asks Vel to mention all his accolades and awards he has got so far which includes Doctorates and awards from President of India Abdul Kalam.
Kamal mentions that Vel doesn’t have to have the inferiority complex because he is much more important person to the society and to his art than this simple stage. Kamal wishes him to believe in himself.
Kamal has a video call with an esteemed Tamil writer Paramasivam who wrote a book on Azhagarkoil. Kamal’s love to celebrate this unsung heroes in this season is very heartwarming as it’s an important shoes to fill in. Kamal wears Makkal Needhi Maiyyam (MNM) party’s flag as cuffs on his coat. To fill in the void inside the house, Bigg Boss team sends another singer, a renowned radio jockey, a straight forward public figure, Suchitra as the wildcard contestant who wishes to shake things up a little bit in this season as there is still room for more entertainment. Suchitra awards emojies which represents each of them in the house. She doesn’t want to go for hard criticism but she makes her points so firmly. Let’s wait for the fun to begin.
