Chennai Super Kings coach Steven Fleming has confirmed that both Dwayne Bravo and Ambati Rayudu will be available for selection for the upcoming matches.
“Yep, they are available for selection, so their experience within the squad is going to be important,” Fleming said, as quoted by CSK’s official website.
“It came at a good time because the first three games were in quick succession and all games were at different grounds, so you have to appreciate trying to read conditions, for each game being predominantly the first team to play there was tough,” Fleming said.
“And also coming off a couple of challenges we had off the field, we’ve used this break pretty well, we got some clarity around what we need to do and have practised very well.”
“It’s very helpful that we can settle in and try and read conditions at one ground and not several. I’m looking forward to putting in a bit of performance than we did the last time we played at Dubai where we were outplayed by Delhi Capitals” Fleming said.
Bravo has not played since arriving in the UAE after his title-winning run with Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League whereas, Ambati Rayudu injured himself after the first match against Mumbai Indians. Rayudu won the player of the match award in that contest.
CSK will take on SRH in their next match today. The team is currently at the bottom of the table with one win from three matches.
