A 21-year-old student from Ireland has been tested positive for COVID-19 at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Chennai.
The state Health minister Dr. C Vijayabaskar confirmed in his tweet that the third case is confirmed and his kept in isolation. It is said that the student was quarantined on his arrival on March 17, 2020, and today his results came out to be positive.
This is the third confirmed COVID-19 case in the state, with the second case being reported yesterday.

It was a 20-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh who travelled in a train to the state. He is under isolation and being monitored.
