South African all-rounder David Wiese will be representing Namibia in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Namibia will be playing the Qualifiers in a couple of months and Wiese is likely to represent the team there.

Wiese is likely to switch allegiance. He is eligible to play for the team as his father is from Namibia.

David Wiese is currently in England for domestic cricket. He is a part of Sussex team. He is likely to feature in the upcoming Quarter final match in the Royal London Cup.

According to reports, he will be joining squad after the tournament.

Namibia, on the other hand, will host Zimbabwe Emerging Side ahead of their World Cup T20 Qualifiers. The team will be playing three T20s and as many One-day matches.

Wiese, who has played 26 international matches for South Africa, had quit the international cricket after signing the kolpak deal.
