Deepak Chahar who recently picked up his first hattrick during the final T20I against Bangladesh, continued his great form as he picked up his second hattrick in three days.
He represented Rajasthan against Vidarbha in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. With the match reduced to 13 overs, Chahar claimed four wickets in his final over with three of them coming in the last three balls.
He picked up the wicket of Rushabh Rathod in the first delivery and in the last three balls, he took the wickets of Darshan Nalkande, Shrikant Wagh and Akshay Wadkar as Vidarbha ended their innings on 99/9 after 13 overs.
After picking up the wicket of Nalkande, he delivered a wide. Chahar finished the innings with 3 for 18 in his three overs.
Earlier, Chahar picked up 6 for 7, the second-best T20I figures. He also became the first Indian male cricketer to pick up a hat-trick in T20I.
Also, a few days back, Washington Sundar showed an enormous amount of commitment when he flew to play Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy the next day, taking an overnight flight from Nagpur.
