After a poor performance in the final session of Day three, India was following on and had a huge job ahead of them.
Shafali Verma began where she left off, scored 63 before getting out to an excellent catch from Katherine Brunt off Ecclestone.
Soon, Raut and Sharma began to build a partnership and once the team had crossed the trailing runs, they tried to attack but unfortunately, failed miserably.
Sharma went for 54 while Raut made 39. Raj, Kaur and Vastrakar followed as well and India once again found themselves under deep trouble.
The team went from 175 for 4 to 199 for 7. Pandey and Rana provided resistance but Pandey had to walk back after edging a delivery to Jones.
Rana then joined hands with Bhatia and the duo made sure to keep going. Rana made 80* off 154 while Bhatia made 44* off 88. The rescue act saw India end the match with 344 for 8 before the play was called off due to bad light.
With this draw, India are yet to lose a Test in England.
