Gmail and other Google owned services are facing an outrage. It looks like the services are down, globally.
Several users have complained regarding the same. A few said that they couldn’t send mail, use Google drives while a few faced connectivity issues while using Google Meet.
Now, The Google Apps status page has also updated saying they have received these complaints and will be providing a follow-up by 1.30pm. “We are continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide an update by 8/20/20, 1.30pm detailing when we expect to resolve the problem,” the message says.
This is the second time in two months that widespread issues with Gmail have been reported. In July, users reported not being able to log into their Gmail accounts. Gmail noted the issue and fixed it, however, there was no explanation regarding the same.
Undoubtedly, Google services are essential for all the workers now as they are working from home due to coronavirus pandemic.
