India to play Test cricket for 1st time since 2014

On occasion of International Women’s Day, BCCI secretary Jay Shah had announced that India will be play a Test match soon.

He took to social media to write-

“On the occasion of #InternationalWomensDay, I’m pleased to announce that #TeamIndia @BCCIWomen will play a one-off Test match against @ECB_cricket later this year. The women in blue will be donning the whites again ?? ??”

If this materializes properly, This will be the first time since 2014, the Indian women will be returning to the Test cricket. Their final Test came against England as well which marked the debut of as many as eight players.

England, on the other hand, are one of the two teams to play Test cricket today. England and Australia lock horns for Ashes.
