IPL 2018 FINAL, CSK V SRH: PREVIEW

Here we are at the end of this year’s IPL and with only a few hours to go for final, let us look at the players to watch out for today.

When: IPL 2018 final – May 27, Sunday, 7 PM IST
Where: Wankhede, Mumbai
Conditions: Cloudy, Spinners’ track.

TEAM NEWS: Both CSK and SRH are coming off a win and CSK is unlikely to make any changes to their line-up. Whereas, SRH might go back to their options, as both Hooda and Khaleel Ahmed weren’t impressive the other night.

SRH: Shikhar Dhawan, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Kane Williamson (c), Manish Pandey/Deepak Hooda, Yusuf Pathan, Shakib al Hasan, Carlos Brathwaite, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, Khaleel Ahmed/Sandeep Sharma.

CSK: Faf du Plessis, Shane Watson, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni (C & wk), Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Lungi Ngidi

-The conditions once again will help the spinners and it is not going to be easy for the batsmen to score against Jadeja or Rashid Khan. Both the teams will look to play out spinners as much as possible.

-It will be interesting to see if Rashid Khan gets promoted up the order to balance the middle-order which is the weak link of Hyderabad.

-In the last few matches, Kane Williamson hasn’t fired big and in order to post a decent total on board, he must stay there till the end. Williamson must play the anchor role allowing the other batsmen to play around him.

-Talking about batting, Rayudu knows Wankhede very well and will be interesting to see how he paces the innings today.

-For CSK, except for Bowlers have done well. Whereas for SRH, their bowl let down in the last few games. Williamson will be hopeful for a luck change today.
