A young man from Madhya Pradesh asked a minister for help to set up his Barber shop.
The man was undergoing crisis because of COVID19.
The MP local resident was identified as Rohidas from Khandwa district.
During a function recently, The minister asked the man to demonstate his skills on the stage.
Wearing a mask, the man gave a hair cut to the minister and shaved his beard as well.
Impressed by his work, the minister awarded Rs 60,000 on spot to the man.
“These people are facing problems because of COVID-19 restrictions and are jobless for the last few months. I got my hair cut on the spot to give confidence to people that it is safe if precautions are taken,” the minister told reporters.
The money was paid from the minister’s discretionary fund, he said.
The minister also added that the loan will be provided for the youngsters who wants to start a new business. They will only have to repay the principal amount while the state government will pay the interest, the minister said.
