Match 16, DC v SRH | Preview

In the last year, Sunrisers Hyderabad was depending mostly on their bowling to win matches. The 2018 runners-up have only got strong with the inclusion of Bairstow. Both the players are taking on the bowlers and winning it, as they face on Delhi Capitals today, I don’t see a reason why they won’t repeat the performances unless Delhi’s strike bowler Kagiso Rabada comes good today.

Rabada, as usual, was outstanding and with the company of spinners, the team was able to restrict their opponent. The real problem arises for Delhi is when their attacking batsman Rishabh Pant gets out. The team starts to lose wickets unnecessarily after Pant’s dismissal. In the last match, they were on top but lost all the wickets in the span of eight runs. Hopefully, Delhi has addressed it. This is a great learning phase for the youngsters.

The major concern for SRH lies in the form of Bhuvneshwar Kumar who was taken for runs by every single team and was on the expensive side. It will be interesting to see if they replace him. Which seems like unlikely to happen.
With a lot of power-hitters in both the team, it’s a mammoth task in front of the bowlers.
