Novak Djokovic defeats Stefanos Tsitsipas to lift his 2nd French open

World Number one Novak Djokovic defeated fifth seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas in a thrilling five-set match to lift his 19th Grand Slam title.

Djokovic and Tsitsipas gave everything in the first set which went to a tie-breaker and Tsitsipas went on win it.

He carried the momentum to the 2nd set which helped him to get two-set lead over the World Number one. He won the set 6-2.



As expected, Djokovic came back stronger to win the third set which he followed it up with a flawless fourth set.

After equalling, Djokovic went on to take an early lead in the fifth set and that was enough for the World Number one to pull off the victory.

Tsitsipas did gave it all on court but it wasn’t enough to take down Djokovic who becomes the first man in open era to win all the four Grand Slams at least twice.
