Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds the highest approval rating among the world leaders handling the pandemic according to a poll by Morning Consult.
Modi’s rating which was 74 per cent before the lockdown has gone up to 82 per cent as of May 19th.
Other world leaders whose popularity among citizens improved during the Covid-19 outbreak, were Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
British PM Boris Jackson who was treated for the virus had low per cent than expected, however, his per cent is increasing now.
Despite a huge number of deaths in the US, Trump’s numbers are steady.
Other hand, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro had a 17 per cent fall due to the increasing deaths in Brazil.
