PUBG Corporation responds to PUBG MOBILE ban in India

Recently, the Indian Government announced that they are banning more than 100 China-origin Apps including PUBG MOBILE.

Now, responding to the ban in the country, the PUBG Corporation has pulled out its connection to Tencent games and would directly get involved in bringing the game to the country.

“Moving forward, PUBG Corporation will take on all publishing responsibilities within the country,” the company said in the statement on its website. “As the company explores ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future, it is committed to doing so by sustaining a localised and healthy gameplay environment for its fans.”

Apart from this, PUBG Corporation is also exploring ways to engage with the Indian fans by providing region-based activities and esports.

Indian Government is yet to respond to PUBG Corporation’s statement.
