Rachel Priest loses central contract for 2020-21

Experienced cricketer Rachel Priest has missed out the central contract of New Zealand cricket board once again after her poor outing in recent matches.

Priest was included in the contract list last year, however, she couldn’t make a mark to hold on to it, scoring only 60 runs from 4 games at 15.00 in the recently concluded T20 World Cup. At 34, this likely is the end of the road for the legend.

Her place in the contract list was filled up by Natalie Dodd who was impressive in the domestic competition. Also, Jess Kerr was awarded the contract this year.

Contracted Cricketers for 2020-21: Suzie Bates, Sophie Devine, Natalie Dodd, Lauren Down, Maddy Green, Holly Huddleston, Hayley Jensen, Leigh Kasperek, Amelia Kerr, Jess Kerr, Rosemary Mair, Katey Martin, Katie Perkins, Anna Peterson, Hannah Rowe, Amy Satterthwaite, Lea Tahuhu.
