Sri Lanka announce their World Cup squad; many ‘probable’ misses out!

Sri Lanka announced their World Cup and the team has opted to go with a relatively new squad than their normal ODI squad.

Dimuth Karunaratne, who is coming back to the ODI squad after 2015, will lead the team.

The major players who missed out are Niroshan Dikwella, Dinesh Chandimal, Danushka Gunatilake, Upul Tharanga & Akila Dhananjaya.

Upul Tharanga has second most runs since 2015 for Sri Lanka and Niroshan Dickwella comes at number four in the list.
