Tokyo 2020: Bajrang Punia wins bronze medal

India’s Bajrang Punia has defeated Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan 8-0 in men’s freestyle 65kg bronze medal match. 

This is the sixth medal for India and the fourth bronze for the nation.

He was one of the top contenders for the medal this year.

He earlier went down to three-time world champion Haji Aliyev 12-5 in their 65kg semifinal bout on Friday.
