Neeraj Chopra gives India their second-ever individual Olympics gold medal, the first since Abhinav Bindra in the 2008 Olympics.
Neeraj began with 87.03m followed it up with 87.58m. The latter was the best throw in this year’s final. Though he couldn’t get past 80m in the further attempts, the second attempt was enough.
This is India’s seventh medal, their best performance in Olympics.
