Why I loved CCV

This is a movie where I like all the cast. Right from Prakash Raj to Aditi. I cannot tell that he/she alone did well. Everybody has given justice to their role and has brought the characters alive.

The film like this makes me feel bad about how Arun Vijay was wasted in most of his movies. This guy deserves more.

STR and Vijay Sethupathi did put a smile on my face with their acting, dialogue and dialogue delivery.

I badly wish STR makes movies like this. Ethi is one of the best that has happened to him in the recent times.

Vijay Sethupathi keeps giving us good movies, and Rasool is too hard to forget for a long time.

Right from Jayasudha to Dayana, the ladies have done a great job as well. Jyothika, Aditi, Aishwarya Rajesh are my favourites too.

Most of all, ARR stole the show for me. He should’ve released the background score first. In a straightforward gangster type movie, music plays a great role and this fine work from ARR keeps us engaging throughout. Sevanthu pochu nenju is the best of all the songs for me.

I feel that I liked this movie more mainly because I didn’t like Kaatru Veliyidai that much and I wanted Mani saar to do something different. Mani saar teaches us how to handle a star-studded cast, how to give all the stars equal space and portions to score in a multi-starrer movie.

This is one of the best films I have ever enjoyed watching. Also, Among the four actors, STR is the ‘crowd puller’. Yes, we love VJS and others, but STR brings that ‘mass factor’ to the movie.

Kudos to the entire cast and crew.
