COVID 19 help: Jaydev Unadkat to contribute 10% of his IPL salary

Indian cricketer Jaydev Unadkat will be contributing 10% of his IPL salary towards providing resources to those who are in need.

Unadkat, who represents Rajasthan Royals, took to Social media to share the statement.

“I am contributing 10% of my IPL salary towards providing essential medical resources for those in need. My family will make sure it reaches the right places. Jai Hind”, he said while sharing a video.

The second wave of coronavirus is severe than one would’ve expected, especially in India. People in the country are fighting for life and are finding it hard to find hospitals and other essential resources to help them survive. Number of celebrities has come forward to help people in different ways.

Meanwhile, Indian Premier League will be going ahead as planned. The BCCI said that they believe the bio bubble that has been created. Today, Punjab Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 26th match of the tournament.
