Former Indian all-rounder Suresh Raina has confirmed to Dainik Jagran that he will be playing in the upcoming season of Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy.
According to reports, he only will be playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and will not feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy or Ranji Trophy. He is also likely to feature in the upcoming edition of the IPL.
In the interview with Dainik Jagran, he revealed that he wants to help Uttar Pradesh to win another title.
Raina, who retired from international cricket in August, had to miss the 13th edition of the IPL due to personal reasons.
Raina’s absence in the IPL was harder for CSK who had failed to qualify for the playoffs this year.
